Our Story

Give or take 8 years of overland travel across 6 continents, some 140+ countries, varying methods of transport, a few languages and a love of food, wine, coffee and all things that compliment them. Throw in a pair of enthusiastic dreamers that make ideas become reality and what do you get?

One sunny day back in 2017, Donna sat sipping a frothy cappuccino and commented how good it would be to have a taste of freshly roasted Colombian beans once again. And so it was born, Ningaloo Roast began importing fairly sourced green beans and started roasting them in high quality, small batches.

A season of sampling, method testing and cupping sessions earned quite a few loyal followers before our debut at The Gascoyne Growers Market in 2018.

Donna spent 2015, 2016 and half of 2017 exploring coffee growing regions of Latin America, mostly by bicycle. Passionate about great tasting, fresh coffee - the idea was brought to life and so it continues…
